Freelance Planning and Logistics Manager (ZZP)

We are looking for a Manager Planning & Logistics for our Coffee & Tea factory in Joure, Netherlands. The Manager Planning & Logistics is part of the European supply chain organization and leads the planning & logistics team (22 FTE) in the factory. In this role you are responsible for the Supply Chain from packing materials and green coffee supply until delivery of finished goods to our warehouses across the globe. You will have full accountability to deliver on People, Service, Cost and Cash targets.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent results through engaged leadership, coaching and team development

• Execute the supply chain processes of the Factory in an efficient and effective way

• Be the primary interface with central supply chain organization and external suppliers

• Set the long-term vision for the Supply Chain area and establishes the right plan to reach it

• Drive or support the on-time delivery of new product development initiatives

• Support the roll out of Continuous Improvement Program and act as role model for the plant

• As member of the leadership team, contribute to the overall performance and development of the Factory

Qualifications

• Master degree

• 5+ years’ experience in Operations or Supply Chain environment, preferably in FMCG

• Experience in Leadership roles

• Excellent change and people management skills

• Experience with SAP and APO preferred

• Dutch preferred, fluent in Englishsure
